DIY Projects

I’m one of those many guys from the CIS whose childhood was filled with things like МП42Б, КТ315, К73-17 and all sorts of similar stuff. Like everyone else, I built radios, wound coils, made audio amplifiers, and all kinds of little gadgets, such as a bouncing-ball sound simulator (truly a legendary whistle-squeaker, believe me!). But times change, and these days I don’t have that much time for electronics. Every now and then I put together some device based on Atmel microcontrollers or just prototype something on a breadboard — or even end up doing more electrical work than actual electronics.
